Shannon has recently passed the Colorado Bar after graduating the the
University of Denver, Strum College of Law in 2010. She's been a
member of the Guild since 2007, and while in school she interned with
the Public Defenders in both the Brighton and Colorado Springs
offices. She also was an integral part of the Peoples Law Project,
contacting volunteer attorneys, establishing the PLP office, and
participating in legal observing during the DNC. She is now a member
to the Core steering committee for NLG Colorado, and is hired by the
Colorado State Public Defenders to work in Adams County. "The Guild
has given me many opportunities both socially and professionally to
meet progressive people and participate in exciting legal work!"
