NO POLICE AT PRIDE
On June 7, 2022, our chapter sent a letter to The Center, a prominent LGBT2QIA+ organization that organizes Pride in Denver, asking that police officers not be allowed to participate in Pride 2022. A copy of the letter is posted below. The Center has routinely ignored and silenced the most marginalized members of Denver's queer and trans communities; reversing course from 2021 and again allowing police in Pride is more of the same.

We have asked The Center to engage with community members most affected by its actions, and work to create a Pride that celebrates all LGBT2QIA+ communities. We will provide updates on The Center's response and any further action.
